主要经历: 

1994年进入中山大学高分子研究所做博士后研究,两年后留校任教。先后任副教授 (1996)、教授 (2002)、博士生导师 (2003),兼任中山大学高分子研究所教研室主任 (1997-1999)、副所长 (1998-2000, 2005-2012)、所长 (2013-2015)、新型聚合物材料设计合成与应用广东省普通高校重点实验室主任 (2013-);曾在美国纽约州立大学石溪分校 (2001-2002,Professor Benjamin Chu 和 Professor Benjamin S. Hsiao 课题组)、美国斯坦福大学 (2011-2012,Professor Richard N. Zare 课题组) 从事科研工作。主要科研兴趣涉及天然与生物高分子、医用与药用高分子、功能与智能材料,已负责承担国家和省部级科研项目20多项,并参与国家973重大项目 (主要学术骨干)、863计划项目 (合作单位负责) 等课题研究,还先后与东莞泰合复合材料有限公司(台资)、中山大学附属医院和基础医学院、广东恒业精细化工有限公司、广州军区总医院、南方医科大学南方医院和珠江医院、广东博迪思迈医疗器械有限公司、广州市纤维产品检测院等单位开展科研合作。在国内外学术刊物上发表论文300多篇、会议论文80多篇,申请中国发明专利70件,主持完成的科研成果获广东省科学技术奖 (自然科学类) 二等奖3项、三等奖1项。先后负责指导博士后6人、访问学者1人、博士生26人、硕士生37人,曾获中山大学马应彪奖教奖、芙兰励教奖和美乐仕奖教奖。1999年入选教育部高等学校骨干教师资助计划,2000年入选广东省高等学校“千百十工程”校级培养对象,2004年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划,2008年入选广东省高等学校“千百十工程”省级培养对象。2016年至今,进入中山大学材料科学与工程学院任教。
